Salesforce Zimlet for Zimbra 8.0+

By: rshah

This is updated version of the previous salesforce zimlet. This version of zimlet works on 8.0.x and 8.5 beta version of Zimbra.

Zimlet automatically checks if the current mail has any Salesforce information and displays them in a Bar. Note that this zimlet requires access to Salesforce api's which are available only for Salesforce Enterprise or Performance editions. So this zimlet will work only with Salesforce Enterprise or Performance editions.

Salesforce Bar Provides:

Salesforce Context (Contact, Lead, Cases, Account & Opportunities) information.

Provides links to quickly edit/view/clone various Salesforce Objects

Provides toolbar buttons to perform various operations like: Add Notes, Email2Case

Provides Salesforce Search capabilities.

By: mcastillo on on 1/18/16 for version 3.4

I just downloaded the zimlet but when I tried to run the JS file I get an pop up screen with an error in line 27
    "ZmZimletBase" is undefined.

Does anyone has instructions on how to install this Zimlet?

  • Error Code 500 - Resolution - Not working

By: Aljoman on on 10/14/15 for version 3.4

    Hi,

I have same "Error Code 500" problem. Tried a solution described in Reviews but still receiving same error message.

When zimlet is deployed on zimbra and preferences filed out, I am successfully logged into SF. But then I am constantly receiving error message 500 with detailed description below:

sf:INVALID_FIELDINVALID_FIELD: l.State,l.PostalCode,l.Country, l.Website from Lead l where Email='xxx@xxx.com' ^ ERROR at Row:1:Column:105 No such column 'Website' on entity 'Lead'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.INVALID_FIELD l.State,l.PostalCode,l.Country, l.Website from Lead l where Email='xxx@xxx.com' ^ ERROR at Row:1:Column:105 No such column 'Website' on entity 'Lead'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.1105

when can we expect solution for that problem? This is current deal breaker for using SF and Zimbra together.

  • Agreed - file broken

By: kconti on on 7/1/15 for version 3.4

  • ZImlet not working in Zimbra 8.6.0

By: damonh on on 3/19/15 for version 3.4

Everything seems to work find EXCEPT the feature that I use most.   When I click "Add Notes" and try to click on "Look up Contacts or Leads" nothing happens.  The Select field is there but not clickable. The source code shows that the data is there but the dropdown list is not working to give me access to it.

  • Error Code 500 - Resolution

By: negativecreep on on 11/6/14 for version 3.4

Hi,I've had the same issue with this new zimlet on zimbra 8 and the previous version of this zimlet on zimbra 7. I've been able to resolve by doing the following:download zimletunzip/unarchivecp -ip sforce.js sforce.js.originaledit sforce.jssearch for NumberOfEmployeesremove this line completely: var NumberOfEmployees = (rec.NumberOfEmployees ? rec.NumberOfEmployees.toString() : "");remove this if statement section completely: if (NumberOfEmployees != "") {                                html[i++] = ["<tr align=left><td width=150px><strong>#Employees:</strong></td><td>",NumberOfEmployees,"</td></tr>"].join("");                        }edit this line: var q = ["Select l.Id, l.Name,l.Title,l.Email,l.Phone,l.Company,l.Status,l.Street,l.State,l.PostalCode,l.Country, l.NumberOfEmployees,l.Website from Lead l where Email='", this._emailsForCurrentNote.join("' or Email='"), "'"].join("");the above line should look like this now: var q = ["Select l.Id, l.Name,l.Title,l.Email,l.Phone,l.Company,l.Status,l.Street,l.State,l.PostalCode,l.Country, l.Website from Lead l where Email='", this._emailsForCurrentNote.join("' or Email='"), "'"].join("");zip the whole package back up and deploySorry about the formatting and wrapped lines. Basically I'm slashing and burning an occurance of the NumberOfEmployees string. I don't know if we're losing functionality by doing this but it definitely works for us after following the above steps.John

the Zip file is still corrupt. Please fix it!

  • File isn't even there

By: Rambo on on 5/15/14 for version 3.4

I downloaded it, got the same result of a bad zip file, but also noticed the zip file was only around 300 bytes. Opened it up in vim, and the contents are some xml saying "The specified key does not exist.". So possibly a problem with the gallery entry itself?

    • Sorry about the problems downloading the zimlet. Looks like some issues with upload on gallery. I think it is fixed now. Please try the downloads now.
